Jean King, Executive DirectorJean was born and raised in Anderson, CA. She attended college at UC Santa Barbara where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Combined Social Sciences. She has worked nearly forty years for non-profits, the majority of that time at UC Santa Barbara, UC San Diego and the UC Office of the President. She has an extensive background working with volunteers, public relations, media and fund-raising. She is committed to the prevention of sexual assault and relationship violence. She is a real estate broker and recently owned her own office in Redding, CA. She also was Assistant Director of Finance for a US Presidential campaign and ran the UC Santa Barbara Family Vacation Center. She is on the board of AAUW, Haven Humane and a member of PEO and the Women’s Fund. |

Linda Dickerson, Associate DirectorLinda has been with Women's Refuge since 1993. Linda has worked in victim services for 30 years, beginning as a volunteer at Human Response Network in Trinity County. She resigned her position there as Family Crisis Line Project Director to move to Shasta County in 1990 where she worked as Operations Manager of Help, Inc., a crisis hotline. Linda is a member of the Law and Justice Sub-Committee of the Shasta County Domestic Violence Coordinating Council, the Mercy Advisory Council and the IMAGE Group serving the needs of the Intermountain Area communities. |

Angela Jones, Shelter DirectorAngela Jones has dedicated the past 9 years to assisting victims of domestic violence. She currently serves as the Shelter Director for Shasta Women’s Refuge. Angela earned her Associate's Degree at Shasta College and attended Cal Northern School of Law from 2007-2008. She is currently working on her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Development at National University and holds a C-31 specialty contractor’s license. Angela owned a traffic control company for 8 years before coming to work for the Refuge. She left the private sector to help others after leaving a 10-year abusive relationship. Angela serves on the Advisory Board for Shasta Community Health’s Project Hope; is a member of Soroptimist International of Redding, the Homeless Continuum of Care Council’s Executive Committee, and the Board of Directors for Visions of the Cross Residential Drug and Alcohol Program. |

Kristi Hanson, Fund Development DirectorKristi has spent her entire career in the non-profit sector. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Humboldt State University in 1989 with a degree in Public Relations. Kristi was hired in 2008 and brings extensive experience in fund-raising, volunteer management, special event coordination, donor relations and community outreach to her role at SWR. She is a member of Soroptimist International of Downtown Redding, the Leadership Redding Alumni Association and the Natural Resources Defense Council. She is a long time volunteer at KIXE Channel 9 and at Turtle Bay Exploration Park. Kristi and her husband Brian enjoy scuba diving the warm oceans around the world. |

Kelly May, Finance ManagerKelly grew up in Ohio and moved to Redding in 1990. She graduated from Simpson University’s Aspire Program in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Kelly has worked in the non-profit arena for 12 years, the last three at Shasta Women’s Refuge. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys kayaking Whiskeytown Lake and riding her bike on the Sacramento River Trail. |

Caedy Minoletti, Education & Community Outreach ManagerCaedy moved to Redding from her home town of Yreka in 2002 to attend Simpson College. She completed an internship with Juvenile Probation and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2006. Caedy started as a Violence Prevention Educator at Shasta Women’s Refuge in 2007 after volunteering with Take Back The Night. She was promoted to Youth Services Coordinator in 2008, and to Education & Community Outreach Manager in 2009. |

Dawn Smith, Crisis Line ManagerDawn started with Shasta Women’s Refuge in March 2010. She volunteered for the Crisis Line prior to coming on board as manager. She worked in the administrative office for Shasta County Child Abuse Prevention Council for several years where the overlap between child abuse and domestic violence was prevalent. Dawn is a proud tribal member of the Choctaw Nation, belongs to the National Child Indian Welfare Association, California Partnership to End Domestic Violence, and the Blue Ribbon Committee (ending child abuse). Some of her volunteer work in the community includes the Cascade Theater, American Cancer Society, and AmeriCorps. |
